Labor Day is a long weekend ideally spent doing absolutely nothing except BBQ-ing, kicking back, and maybe browsing all the Labor Day mattress sales that are clamoring for your attention. It's a holiday after all, and what better things do we time-starved workers have to self-soothe on our days off except online shop? Uh, kidding of course. But if you do need a little spike of serotonin right now, there really are a whole mess of sales events timed to Labor Day whether you're hunting for mattresses, clothing, or beyond (and in case you haven't heard, many of those are dropping as early as now).

Eyeing a new mattress for that neglected guest room now that your kid's left the nest for college, or hoping to upgrade the creaky innerspring you've been sleeping on for years? Labor Day is likely the last time you're going to find a good deal on a new bed before the holidays, so you may as well take advantage. Rest your achy little techneck on a back- and spine-supporting hybrid or squishier foam model for your stomach-sleeping needs, and enjoy some well-earned rest and relaxation.
